1. Information about us and how to contact us

2. Prices and Offers

2.1 All prices are shown are in £ sterling and include VAT, but exclude any delivery and credit card transactional charges. 

Any delivery or other changes made will include VAT as appropriate

2.2 We reserve the right to change any advertised prices at any time

2.3 The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we received your order, except in the instance where an error has occurred with the price shown on the website

a. Prices may go up and down daily 

b. When placing an order from the website you are purchasing the product(s) at the prices shown at the time you place the order

c. Should a price change subsequently alter after you have made a purchase, we are unable to adjust your order to the new price

2.4 If an error is discovered with the price of the product(s) you have ordered

a. We will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of amending your order at the correct price or cancelling it

b. If you cancel your order and have already paid for the product(s) we will give you a full refund

c. If we are unable to contact you, we will cancel the order and refund you any sums you have paid

2.5 Percentage saving calculations can be calculated using the manufacturer retail prices and the current price available on the website or previous prices the product has been sold at

2.6 Hotwatertap.com reserve the right to withdraw an offer or reduce price, at any time

3. Security

3.1  We understand that the internet is based on trust so we make security a priority in the business. Your credit card details are sent to the banks secure servevers whilst the order is being processed. No card detail data is held or saved by Hotwatertap.com or are visible to any member of our staff

3.2   Our website server uses GEO, an independent third party organisation that provides you with proof that our servers are genuine

3.3   At no point are your credit card details sent over using an unsecured connection

4. Payment

4.1 Payment can be made by most major credit cards (except Diners Club cards). We also accept any debit card and PayPal      

4.2 Cheque payments can only be made by special arrangement with our sales team

4.3 Full payment is taken for your product (s) when a new order is placed

4.4 If you choose to pay by cheque, then your order will only be processed once the cheque has been received and cleared

4.5 We do not give out paper invoices. We will email an order summary to you on the email address you supply

5. Availability

5.1 All products are subject to available and may be changed at any time

5.2 If your order can not be fulfilled, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund

5.3 If an order is received for a discontinued product, we will automatically provide you with updated equivalent, providing it is available and the same price as the discontinued model. Any changes to this situation we will contact you immediately.

6. Delivery

6.1 We deliver to most of mainland Great Britain except for some outlying areas and deliver timeframes given are best estimates only

6.2 Standard delivery for orders over £250 is free, however we may charge for third party couriers 

6.3 Delivery options and costs will be shown and displayed on the website when you enter your delivery postcode

6.4 In all but exceptional or unforeseeable situations a signature will be required

6.5 Delivery is by a third-party courier such as DPD. 

Once collection from our despatch warehouse all orders are the responsibility of the chosen delivery organisation. We  are unable to give any special delivery instructions to the company or drivers or for delivery companies experience in instances where goods go missing, we have to allow 30 days in order for us to be able to successfully claim from the delivery company

a.    Delivery is normally 48 hours but please note that this can be quicker or up to four days in some instances

b.    Delivery dates can be affected by events outside our control 

        -      Sudden stock shortages

    • - Manufacturing delays
    • - Vehicle breakdowns or delays
    • - Weather conditions

We strongly recommend that customers do not book fitters/tardesmen until they have received the products, as no claims will be accepted.

We will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of any delays and will take all reasonable steps to minimise the effect of any delay

6.6  We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay in delivering the products

6.7 The product will be your responsibility from the time we deliver to the address given by you

6.8 The chosen third party will do all they can to deliver and this will be subject to there terms and conditions on delivery.

6.9 Delivery of Damaged and Faulty goods – please see the returns policy on the website

Please do not fit any damaged goods as we will be unable to replace or refund damaged items which have been installed. 

7.   Cancellation

You have a right to cancel your order before despatch or within 30 days after the date of delivery by either email, phone calling, or sending written notice to Hotwatertap.com at address specified in section 1 quoting your order details. We will refund you the cost of the unwanted item within 30 days. Once you receive the cancellation confirmation please return the product (s) back to us.

After 30 days from the day after products have been received you will not be able to cancel the Contract. We still may offer a credit note for goods that are unused and in their original packaging. Please contact us to discuss.

We can not  refund goods that have been damaged whilst in your possession

We are not responsible for any return costs for unwanted products, you will need to arrange for the shipping yourself and ensuring their safe return 

8. Warranty and Liability (see guarantee and faulty goods)

a. We will supply products that are in conformance in with this contract and nothing in these terms and conditions effect your statutory rights

b. If you discover the product which you have received is faulty you should notify us immediately. You have the right to a full refund if a fault is discovered within 30 days of deliver (see return items section on the website) 

9. Accuracy of Product Information

All product information shown on the website is believed to be correct and accurate from the source material (i.e., manufacturers documentation). However, we cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and any dispute or claim arising in connection with these terms or the contract between us shall be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales

11. Complaints

We take all complaints seriously, if you have cause to complain please contact us by post, email or telephone at the details specified in section 1 of the terms and conditions

If you feel that we have not been able to resolve your complaint satisfactorily, you can access the EU Online Disputes platform at ec.europa.eu/odr

12. Statutory Rights

None of these terms and conditions affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We reserve the right to amend out terms and conditions clauses wherever consumer rights are not affected
