Black Boiling Water Taps
A matt black kitchen tap does something most appliances can't: it makes the practical stuff look good. Our black boiling water taps give you instant access to boiling, hot and cold water from a single spout, while adding a finish that actually fits with how modern kitchens are designed.
Every tap in the range is available in a matt black finish and comes with a choice of spout shape. If you prefer clean, angular lines, go for the D-shaped spout. If you're after something softer, the swan neck is hard to beat. Both are available as a 3-in-1 or 4-in-1 boiling water tap, with the 4-in-1 option adding filtered cold water straight from the tap.
Why choose a black boiling water tap?
Black taps have become a go-to for kitchen renovations, and it's a trend with staying power. Unlike chrome, a black hot water tap doesn't fight for attention. It grounds a kitchen, pairs well with timber, marble and concrete worktops, and tends to age better than polished finishes that show every fingerprint and water mark.

FAQs
Find answers to our customers' commonly asked questions.
Our taps use an in-cupboard boiler tank (which we provide) to heat a supply of water up to 98 degrees and maintain it at that temperature. When you need to access the near-boiling water, you simply turn the handle and the water will be pulled from your boiler tank. The water used is then replaced by regular water from your mains supply and is heated back up. So, whether you're whipping up a batch of your family-famous spaghetti bolognese or mopping stubborn stains of kitchen tiles, with a boiling tap you can complete life chores quicker than ever.
Our matt black taps are designed to be eco-friendly. This is primarily because using a boiler tank is more energy-efficient than heating water from cold using a kettle or hob every time, which means you can cut costs when cracking on with your cooking and cleaning chores. So, when it comes to saving time and energy, our taps offer incredible value for money.
Boiling water taps are often far safer than a kettle, which can be hazardous to operate and easily accessible to a child. Our taps will only dispense boiling water once the child-safe spring lock has been operated, which reduces the risk of little hands being burnt. What's more, the spout on our instant hot water taps dispenses a steady stream, which is safer than the sputtering water that can come from a kettle.
Our 3-in-1 taps will save you bags of time by providing access to instant hot water precisely when you need it. As well as a hot and cold mixer, the Athena and Avista ranges come with a boiler which fits neatly into the cupboard below your sink basin, dispensing 98c water instantaneously.
Our 4-in-1 matt black taps take things further by offering ice-cold water through a filter, in addition to a hot/cold mixer and boiler. With the provided filter, you have easy access to crystal-clear drinking water at any time. The added technology makes the price of our Quantum and Platinum ranges slightly higher, but we'd like to think this a worthwhile investment in your family's health. What's more, the Platinum range has a pull-out swivel spout, which makes your kitchen sink even more functional.
